IIRC ground battles have bitmap FX that are missing in BMS.
Allied Force also works but needs a scalable desktop to display it's 1024x764 GUI on the HP Mini's 1024x600 resolution.
Both versions are nice but the original Falcon 4.0 is getting hard to obtain legally for those that care about these things and is needed on GOG.
